Gadley Cottage
This is Gadley Cottage in Buxton. It's just the one building, on its own.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom is upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. There's a wood burner in the main room if you want a fire.
There's a conservatory you can sit in. The kitchen is decent, it has a dishwasher. Outside is a private patio with a hot tub. It looks out over a big garden.
The local shop and a pub are about five minutes' walk. There's a restaurant even closer, just down the lane.
Buxton is a ten minute drive. Good for a wander. There's the Pavilion Gardens, the Opera House, and some shops. You can walk straight from the cottage into the countryside.
If you drive, Chatsworth House is about twenty five minutes away. Alton Towers is around forty minutes. The Peak District is all around you. For planning walks, the Peak District National Park site is useful. You can also look at National Trust Peak District for places like Lyme Park.
What's here: parking right outside. Wifi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. It's all on one level except for the bedroom upstairs.
There's another cottage next door, Pheasant Cottage. You can book both together if there's four of you.
