It's No1 at Park Lodge, in Buxton. It's a ground floor apartment, so no stairs to worry about. The building is nice. It's Victorian, I think.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two showers actually. One's in a bathroom, one's an ensuite in the main bedroom. There's a living room with a table and a decent kitchen. It was all done up a couple of years ago.
The garden is shared with the other flats. You get your own parking space. There's more parking on the road if you need it. No pets allowed.
You can walk into the centre of Buxton in a few minutes. All the shops and places to eat are right there. The Opera House has shows on most of the year.
If you want to get out walking, you can start straight from the door. For a proper day out, the caverns at Castleton are about half an hour's drive. The train to Manchester is direct and runs late.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
For planning walks and trips, the Peak District National Park website is useful. So is the National Trust Peak District page.
