This is Johnsons Cottage in Taddington. It's a detached stone cottage on the edge of the village. You look out over the village green. It's quiet up here.
It was renovated a couple of years ago, so everything inside is clean and works properly. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, a double and a twin. The bathroom is downstairs, with a shower over the bath.
The stairs are typical cottage stairs. They're a bit steep and turn a corner.
The kitchen is small, but it has a dishwasher. The sitting room has a dining table and an electric fire that looks like a wood burner. It’s warm. Outside there's a patio with a table and a barbecue. The view is nice. You get one parking space next to the cottage. There's an outhouse with a washing machine and a tumble dryer in it.
Taddington's a good spot. You can walk straight out onto the fields. The pub in the village is a five-minute walk. They do good food.
You're about a fifteen-minute drive from Buxton. Bakewell is about twenty minutes. Chatsworth House is maybe twenty-five minutes. You can be on the high moors around the Cat and Fiddle in well under half an hour.
You can bring two dogs. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
