Haddon Cottage

Haddon Cottage is on Burton Manor Farm, outside Over Haddon. It's one of a few cottages here on a working dairy farm. The view from the front is just fields and the Wye Valley. It's very quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything works.

You get a small patio area with a table. There's off-road parking right outside. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV.

We're on a farm, so you'll see cows. Fresh milk is provided when you arrive. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks. Pets are allowed, we take up to three.

The village of Over Haddon is a five minute walk up the lane. It’s small. There's a good pub there, the Lathkill Hotel, with a garden that looks right down the valley. Bakewell is about two miles away. You can walk it along the river if you want.

For walking, you can step straight out onto the Limestone Way. Monsal Head is a couple of miles away. Chatsworth House is about a twenty minute drive. You're right in the middle of the Peak District so most places are within half an hour.
