The Pottery Annexe
The Pottery Annexe is in Baslow. It's a one bedroom place attached to our house. We have a working pottery workshop here, so you might hear the wheel or see us moving things around sometimes. It sleeps four, with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area, so it's best for a couple or a small family.
It's all on the ground floor. The main thing is the garden. It's partly walled, looks out over fields, and is just for you. There's a patio with a table and a barbecue.
The village is quiet. There are a couple of pubs that do food, and a shop. Chatsworth Park is literally a two minute walk up the road. You can be in the parkland in no time.
Bakewell is about ten minutes drive for more shops and cafes. For big days out, Chatsworth House itself is very close. Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall aren't far by car. Castleton and the Hope Valley are about twenty minutes west if you want proper hills and caves.
Inside, it's got what you need. TV, wifi, a kitchen with the basics. The bathroom is en-suite. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. We include bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
