The Old Vicarage is in Curbar, in the Peak District. It's the old servants' quarters for the main house, but it's all yours now.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. There's a steep oak staircase down to the utility room in the basement. Just so you know.
You get your own private garden. It's not huge, but it's enclosed and quiet.
The pub is about a minute's walk away. They do food. There's a shop about half a mile off.
For walking, you're right on the edge of Curbar Edge. Step out the door and you're on the path. The views from up there are very good. Froggatt Edge and Baslow Edge are right there too.
Bakewell is about fifteen minutes by car. Chatsworth House is the same. You can walk to Chatsworth from Baslow if you're feeling keen. Haddon Hall is about twenty minutes away. Places like Buxton, Castleton, and Matlock are all within half an hour.
It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking here. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We have an electric vehicle charger now too. No pets.
