Bank Top Cottage is on the edge of Hathersage village. It's detached and looks out over the fields towards the hills. You get a small, enclosed garden to yourself.
It sleeps four in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, but not top-end. The ceiling in the main bedroom is a bit low, so watch your head if you're tall.
The village shop is about five minutes walk away for basics. There's a pub about 100 yards down the road. It serves food.
The cottage is right on the edge of the Peak District. You can start walking straight from the door. Stanage Edge is a good climb, about an hour's walk away, or a few minutes by car. You're in a good spot for Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall, which are both about a 20 minute drive. Castleton and the caverns are about 15 minutes away.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, TV, and parking for one car on site. Bedding is included. There's a shed if you bring bikes. We don't take pets.
