Bank Top Cottage

Bank Top Cottage is one of a pair of detached stone cottages in Hathersage. They're on a bit of a bank, as the name suggests, which gives you a view out over the fields from the back. It's in the older part of the village, which Charlotte Bronte used in Jane Eyre if that means anything to you.

It sleeps four in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. You get your own enclosed garden at the back. There's on-site parking for one car.

A pub is about a minute's walk away. There's a shop a bit further on. You can start walks into the Peak District right from the doorstep. The properties can be booked together if you're coming with another family.

There is bicycle storage. It's a washing machine, TV, and bedding is included. No pets.

For things to do, Castleton with its caverns is about a 15 minute drive. Bakewell is maybe 20 minutes. Chatsworth House is a similar distance. Carsington Water for sailing or windsurfing is around half an hour away.
