Easter Cottage

Easter Cottage is in Bamford. It's a terrace house, built in the 1750s. It used to be a weaver's cottage. It's set back from the road a bit.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.

The layout is over three floors. The stairs are typical for an old cottage, so they're a bit steep and narrow in places. There's a living room with a wood burner and a kitchen with doors out to a small, enclosed patio garden. It's not a huge garden, but it's private.

There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The pub does food. Ladybower Reservoir is a five minute drive, or you can walk it in half an hour if you're feeling keen.

Hathersage is close by, they have an outdoor swimming pool that's open in the summer. Castleton and the Hope Valley are about ten minutes away by car. Edale, where the Pennine Way starts, is maybe twenty minutes. You can hire bikes or get information at the Upper Derwent Visitor Centre near Derwent Dam.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
