Calico Cottage
Calico Cottage is in Hope, Derbyshire. It's on a quiet farm that isn't working anymore, so it's peaceful. The views are good, you're looking out over fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is because it's been done up well inside. Everything's clean and in good order.
You're right next to National Trust land. The Great Ridge Walk starts practically from the door. For a pint and some food, there's a pub about half a mile away. Hope village is a mile down the road, it's got shops, a few more pubs and some cafes.
Castleton is two miles away. That's where the caverns are, and the castle ruins. You've got Chatsworth, Buxton and Bakewell all within about twelve miles or so if you want a day out.
The place has a wood burning stove, fast broadband, a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's parking, a garden, and they provide the bedding and towels. You can store bikes. There's no space for pets.
