Morton Loft
Morton Loft is a first floor apartment in Hathersage, right in the middle of the village. It's above the butcher's shop. There's a little stream that runs past outside and you get a dedicated parking space.
It's been done up recently so everything inside feels fresh. The main room has high vaulted ceilings with beams. The view from the front window is really good, right out over the village and the hills. You get the same view from the bedroom.
It says it sleeps five, but honestly, that's because there's one double bed and a big sofa bed in the living area. If you've got more than two adults, you'd all need to be good friends. It's one bedroom and one bathroom.
You get in via an external staircase at the side of the building. It's fine, just stairs.
Everything you need is in Hathersage. Shops, pubs, cafes. There's a fantastic open air heated swimming pool. For walking and climbing, you're right on the edge of it all. Stanage Edge is right there. Castleton is ten minutes up the road. You're close to Edale for bigger walks, and places like Eyam, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are about a fifteen to twenty minute drive.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The place has a 4 Star rating.
