Highbury Cottage
This is Highbury Cottage, in Hathersage. It's a detached stone cottage, one of two that sit together in the older part of the village. The views from the front look out over fields and hills.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, just so you know.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. A shop is a five minute walk. You can start some good walks right from the door. For longer walks, you're right on the edge of the Peak District.
Castleton and the caverns are about ten minutes by car. Bakewell is maybe twenty minutes. Chatsworth House is roughly twenty-five minutes drive. You've got Carsington Water for sailing and cycling about half an hour away.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, an enclosed garden to yourself, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
