Lean Low Holiday Cottage
Lean Low Cottage is attached to our farmhouse here at Parsley Hay, between Hartington and Longnor. It's a barn conversion, so you're staying on a working farm. You'll see the sheep from the windows.
The cottage sleeps seven over three bedrooms. There's two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the view. It looks right out over the fields towards the hills. There's a decent sized garden with a patio and a barbecue. The stairs are original, so they turn a corner.
Inside, it's spacious. The lounge is a good size and there's a woodburner. The dining table is big, so everyone can sit together. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Hartington is about a mile away. It's a nice little village with a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. There's a local stables if you want to go riding. For walking, the Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail are right on the doorstep.
Buxton is about a twenty minute drive north. Bakewell and Chatsworth House are about half an hour south. Alton Towers is just over twenty minutes away.
Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Wifi. On-site parking. We allow one well-behaved dog.
