Weavers Houses is a studio apartment for two people, on the first floor of an old building in Hayfield. It's in the centre of the village. You get a view over the rooftops.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not posh. There's one room with the bed and living area together, and a separate kitchenette and bathroom. The building is listed, so the stairs are a bit steeper than modern ones. The ceilings are low in places too.
It's a good spot if you're here to walk. You can get straight onto the footpaths. The Sett Valley Trail starts here, and the Kinder Scout edges are up there. The pub and a shop are about a minute's walk away.
For a day out, Glossop is ten minutes by car. Edale, Castleton and Buxton are about twenty minutes. Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Haddon Hall are within half an hour.
What's there: bed linen and towels are provided. There's a TV, WiFi, a shower, and a washing machine. There's no private garden, but there is a shared patio area. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
