Weavers Houses is a studio apartment in Hayfield. It’s on the first floor of an old building right in the middle of the village. It's for two people.
The building is listed, so some things are as they were. The windows are nice and big and the view over the rooftops and hills is good. It’s a three star, so it’s clean and comfortable. It’s not a fancy modern box.
You’re right in the village. There’s a pub about a minute’s walk away. A shop is two minutes the other way. It’s useful.
If you walk, you can get straight onto the paths. Kinder Scout and the Pennine Way start here. The Peak District National Park site has maps. Edale and Castleton are about twenty minutes by car. Buxton is the same. For a longer day out, Bakewell or Chatsworth are roughly half an hour’s drive.
It has a shower, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a small shared garden area out the back. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
