Park View Cottage Glossop

Park View Cottage is in Glossop. It's a terraced house on a normal residential street. The name is accurate, it's right across the road from Manor Park. You can see the park from the front rooms.

It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been assessed for quality and is well equipped. It's comfortable and tidy.

The house is very central. There's a shop and a pub about 100 yards away. A few more places to eat are a five minute walk. You can easily walk into the town centre for anything else.

You're on the edge of the Peak District here. You can be out on a proper walk in about ten minutes by car. For planning, the Peak District National Park site is useful. Castleton and its caves are about half an hour away. Buxton is a similar drive.

Manchester is 15 miles east. That's about 30 minutes depending on traffic. It's handy if you want a city day or need to fly from the airport.

The facilities are all there. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's a small enclosed garden at the back. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair.

A couple of things to note plainly. Being in the town centre means you might hear normal street noise sometimes. The bathroom is downstairs. The stairs are fairly typical for a house like this.
