It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs are worth mentioning: they are steep and a bit narrow. Just take your time on them.
There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The pub is handy. A restaurant is a five minute walk.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. You can walk out of the door and be on a footpath in minutes. For a proper hike, you can drive into the national park in under fifteen minutes. Peak District National Park has all the maps and information.
Castleton is about a half hour drive. That's where the show caves are, like Peak Cavern. Buxton is about the same distance, with its opera house and pavilion gardens.
