The Old Shippon At New Ringstones Farm
The Old Shippon is on our farm, New Ringstones, just outside Rowarth. It's a converted barn. Detached, so it's just you. Quiet.
It sleeps two. One bedroom downstairs, with an ensuite bathroom that has a bath and a shower. There's underfloor heating in there. Upstairs is all open plan, kitchen, dining table, and sitting area with a wood burner. The ceilings are high because it was a barn. You come in through the upstairs door.
There are a few steps down from the main living area into the bedroom. Something to be aware of.
Outside, there's parking for your car and a patio with a table and chairs. You can store bicycles. We include all bedding and towels.
The local pub, The Grouse, is about a fifteen minute walk away. They do food. Good for a pint after a walk.
You can walk straight from the door. It's right on the edge of the Peak District. Kinder Scout and the reservoirs are close. Hayfield is a few miles down the road. For a longer drive, Buxton, Castleton, and Edale are all within half an hour.
