It's called Forget-Me-Not. It's a shepherd's hut, just outside Parwich near Ashbourne. It's in a field, so the view is just fields, sheep, that sort of thing. Quiet.
It's one hut, but there's another one next to it called Foxglove. They're quite similar. You can book them together if you're with another family.
Inside, it's all one room. It sleeps four on a double bunk bed, so it's a double on the bottom and another on top. There's a small kitchen area with an oven and a fridge, a table, and a shower room. It's got Wi-Fi and a TV. The heating is electric radiators. They've done it up well, it's comfortable.
Outside, there's a firepit and a barbecue, and some furniture. You can sit out there and just look at the field.
The village pub in Parwich is about a mile away for food. For walks, you're right near the Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail, both good for cycling too. Dovedale and the stepping stones are really close, maybe a 10 minute drive. Thorpe Cloud is there if you want a proper hill to climb.
If you want a big day out, Carsington Water is about 20 minutes for sailing or windsurfing. Alton Towers is also about 20 minutes away.
It's a 4 Star place. They allow one dog. Bedding and towels are included. You park right next to it.
