Brynfields is in Shirley, a small village just off the A52 between Ashbourne and Derby. It’s a detached cottage with its own garden.
The place sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It’s a comfortable, straightforward sort of house. We’ve kept some original features but it’s not a museum piece.
You have a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. There’s a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s on site parking, and because it’s detached, it’s quite private.
We accept two dogs. There’s a cot, highchair and stairgate available if you need them.
The garden is a good size. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
There’s a local pub in the village. Ashbourne is about ten minutes away by car. It’s a proper market town with shops and places to eat. For walking, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by. Alton Towers is about twenty-five minutes drive if that's your thing.
