The Pig Barn Kirk Langley

The Pig Barn is on our farm in Kirk Langley. It's about a mile down a track from the main road, so it's quiet. The barn was converted for guests a few years ago.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are kingsize and both have their own bathrooms. That's handy. The beds can be split into twins if you need that. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The living space is open plan, kitchen and sitting area together. It's a good size. There's a patio with a table and a hot tub. The view from there is over our fields. It's just fields, really.

The farm is four acres. There's a big pond. There are a few other cottages here, so sometimes other guests are around. You can book them all together for big groups.

It's a good spot for the Peak District. Derby is about ten minutes' drive if you need a big supermarket. A decent pub is a mile and a half away.

For days out, Carsington Water is close by for walking or cycling. Chatsworth House is about half an hour's drive. So is Peak District National Park for proper walks. Ashbourne and Bakewell are nice market towns to visit, also within half an hour.

On facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, all included. There's parking right outside. The place is wheelchair accessible through the front door. We can provide a cot and highchair. Pets are welcome, up to three.
