Willow Barn
Willow Barn is on a farm in Kirk Langley. It's a big stone converted barn. It sleeps fourteen people so it's really for big groups or families. That's what it's set up for.
There are seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. Four of the bathrooms are ensuite. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not just basic.
The main room is big and open with beams. It's got a wood burning stove. There's a games room with a pool table and a table tennis table, which is handy if the weather's bad. Outside there's a patio with a barbecue and a garden. The view from there is just fields. You can book a hot tub as an extra, but you need to arrange that with me when you book.
The place is on a working farm. You'll see sheep. There are lots of birds around. You can walk to a fishing pond, it's just across the field, about two minutes away.
It's very quiet here but you're not far from things. Derby is about ten minutes drive for supermarkets and that. The Peak District is close. Carsington Water is good for walking and cycling, and you can do water sports there. It's about twenty minutes away.
For a day out, Chatsworth House is about half an hour's drive. Haddon Hall is similar. Alton Towers is about forty minutes if you've got kids who want that. Dovedale for a walk is maybe twenty five minutes.
In terms of what's here, it's all listed. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TVs, parking for several cars. Bedding is included. We've got a cot and highchair. There's no pub in walking distance, you'd need to drive.
