Willow Barn

Willow Barn is a converted barn in Kirk Langley. It's in the countryside, about four miles outside Derby. It's very quiet here, just fields and sky. The views are good.

It sleeps fourteen people. Seven bedrooms, five bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. We've kept some of the original barn features, so the ceilings are high and the doors are big. It feels spacious.

There's a patio and garden area that's just for you. You can book a hot tub to go out there if you want, for an extra charge. We just need a bit of notice to set it up. Inside, there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking.

For kids, there's a play area on the farm. There's also a games room in the barn with a pool table and some other things to keep people entertained.

The farm has a lot of wildlife. You'll see kestrels and plenty of smaller birds. There's a fishing pond about two minutes' walk across the field. You'd need your own gear.

If you want to go out, Carsington Water is close. It's good for walking, cycling, and water sports. The Peak District National Park starts about a twenty minute drive away. Dovedale is popular for a walk. For a big day out, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both within half an hour's drive. Alton Towers is about forty minutes away.

Willow Barn is one of two identical barns next to each other. They can be booked together if you have a bigger group.
