Meadow View
Meadow View is a converted barn out near Kirk Langley. It's on a farm, so you'll see fields out of every window. It's quiet.
The place sleeps a lot of people, fourteen across seven bedrooms. There are five bathrooms, which helps with a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
You've got a good-sized garden and a patio with a BBQ. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for colder nights, and a games room with a pool table and table football. It's got all the practical stuff: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
The farm has a kids' play area and there's a fishing pond a couple of minutes' walk across a field. You can add a hot tub to your booking for a fee, but you need to arrange that with me beforehand.
Location wise, you're in the countryside but not isolated. Derby is about ten minutes by car for supermarkets. For a day out, Carsington Water is close by for walking, cycling, or water sports. The Peak District is on your doorstep. You can be at Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall in under half an hour. Alton Towers is about a twenty-five minute drive.
