Cedar Cottage is in Waterhouses, right on the edge of the Peak District. It's part of a converted farm courtyard, so you'll have neighbours in the other barns.
It sleeps six, but that's across two bedrooms, so you need to be happy sharing beds. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and everything works, but it's not luxury.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, we take up to two pets.
The location is the main thing. You're straight into the Peaks from the door. The Manifold Valley is just down the road. There's a great cycle trail there, and you can hire bikes. Peak District National Park has all the maps and details.
A shop and a pub are about a mile away. For a bigger shop or a meal out, Leek is close. Ashbourne isn't far either.
If you've got people to entertain, Alton Towers is six miles down the road. Chatsworth House is about a 30 minute drive. So are the potteries in Stoke if you're into that. Chatsworth is worth a visit.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, wifi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
