Stonesthrow Townhouse is in Leek town centre. It's a three-storey house, so you're up above the street. You can walk to everything from here.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a roll-top bath and a separate shower. The rating is 4 Star. It was all done up in 2022, so it feels fresh. The stairs are typical for an old townhouse, they go straight up and are a bit steep.
The living room is on the ground floor with a coal fire. The kitchen has a fold-out table to save space. There's a small, enclosed courtyard out the back if you've got dogs, or just for some air.
You're right in the middle of town. Bakeries, pubs, and shops are on your doorstep. There's a big park five minutes walk away with a kids' play area and tennis courts. The leisure centre with the pool is there too.
Leek's a proper market town. The markets happen during the week, including the Totally Locally one. If you're interested in the architecture, there's a tour that goes past the house.
For bigger days out, Alton Towers is about 20 minutes by car. The Peak District is close, maybe a 15-minute drive to get into the edges of it for walking. The Peak District National Park site is good for planning routes.
What's here: WiFi, a smart TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs.
