Flip-Flop Lodge

Flip-Flop Lodge is a caravan on Fairways Holiday Park in Sandown. It's a 3 Star holiday home, so it's clean and comfortable but not fancy. It sleeps six but there are only two bedrooms: one double and one with two single beds. It's compact, but the layout works.

You've got your own space. The main living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table, and seating all together. There's a TV and a gas fire for cooler evenings. The bathroom has a shower.

The park has a shared heated swimming pool and a clubhouse. It's a short walk to Sandown beach, which is a long, sandy bay. Good for kids.

On the Island, you're well placed. Shanklin is a few minutes down the road with its old village and thatched cottages. You can drive to The Needles in about half an hour. Carisbrooke Castle is about twenty minutes away. For a day out with kids, Blackgang Chine or Tapnell Farm Park are popular.

Facilities wise: bedding is included, there's parking right by the caravan, and the TV and utilities are all covered. You can bring one dog.
