Rosedene is in Bembridge. It's the last village on the east of the island. The cottage is end of terrace, Victorian. It's double glazed and has central heating, so it's comfortable year-round.
It sleeps two. There's three bedrooms, but two are small so we've kept it for two people. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious.
The harbour is a five minute walk. It's a proper working harbour, lots of boats coming and going. There's old houseboats along one side. The sandy beach is about the same distance. There's a shop five minutes away and a pub two minutes up the road. The pub does meals.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a small garden out the back with a BBQ, TV, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Isle of Wight page is good. For the local area, Visit Isle of Wight has information. Ryde is about twenty minutes by car, and you can get the hovercraft from there to Portsmouth. Sandown and Shanklin are within half an hour along the coast.
