Dunroamin
This is a caravan at Fairways Holiday Park in Sandown. It's called Dunroamin. It's your own space, but it's on a holiday park.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and tidy but not luxurious. The lounge, kitchen and dining area are all open plan. The kitchen has what you need for holiday meals. There's a proper decking area outside with a table and chairs.
The park itself has a shared heated swimming pool you can use. There's also a clubhouse on site if you fancy a drink.
You're about a ten minute walk from Sandown beach. It's a good sandy beach with a pier. Shanklin is a short drive away, and Godshill is worth a visit for the thatched cottages and tea rooms.
If you want to explore, Blackgang Chine is about half an hour's drive for the kids, or Tapnell Farm Park is similar. The Needles are out in West Wight, which is a good 45 minute drive, but the views are worth it. Carisbrooke Castle is about twenty minutes away.
Facilities wise: your electricity is included, there's a TV, bedding and towels are provided, and you can park right outside. There's a shower, no bath. No pets allowed.
