Solent Charm
This is Solent Charm. It's a first floor apartment in Ryde. You get a partial view of the sea from the big windows, which is nice.
It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. Has a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and functional. The bathroom has some grab rails and a seat in the shower, which some people find useful.
The layout is open plan, so the lounge, dining and kitchen are all in one space. It feels spacious. There's a patio area too, and parking on site.
Ryde seafront is a short walk away. You can watch the ferries and the hovercraft come and go. The beach is there, with its long pier. The town has shops, pubs, and places to eat. There's a bowling alley on the promenade.
For getting around, you can catch the bus from town. The ferry to Portsmouth is right there on the seafront. The car ferry leaves from Fishbourne, which is a short drive.
If you fancy a day out, you've got Osborne House near East Cowes, which is about twenty minutes by car. For walking, the coastal path is accessible from many points. The whole island is within a thirty minute drive, really.
