Little Fishes is an annexe in Fishbourne. It's attached to the main house, but it's your own space. You get a small seating area outside.
It sleeps two, one bedroom with a double bed. One bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's a comfortable and clean place to come back to.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen and sitting area are together. It's compact, but enough for breakfast or a simple meal. The bedroom and bathroom are off a separate hallway, so it feels private.
The location is the main point. It's about a ten minute walk from the Fishbourne ferry terminal. That's the Wightlink car ferry from Portsmouth. So it's very straightforward if you're coming over without a car. There's a bus stop nearby too.
There's a pub, The Fishbourne Inn, less than a mile away. Ryde is a short bus or car journey. That's where you'll find the main shops, restaurants, and a long pier and beach. Appley Beach is in Ryde, good for a swim if the tide's in.
For getting around the island, it's a good base. You're quite central. Everything is within about a 30 minute drive. Osborne House is ten minutes away in East Cowes. The needles and the west coast are about half an hour.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking on the gravel drive. There's an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
