Trafalgar

Trafalgar is a new house we had built in 2023, just outside Newport. It's detached and sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, all with walk-in rain showers.

The main living space is open plan, with big bi-fold doors out to the garden. You get a good view of the fields and the sunsets from there. The kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar. It's all very modern, with LED lighting you can adjust.

The house is set back from the main road to Arreton and Newport. At the bottom of the garden there's a gate onto a lane, so you can walk or cycle into Newport. The bus stop is about five minutes away for getting to Ryde or elsewhere.

There's a pub within a mile. Ryde seafront is about ten minutes in the car. For days out, Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House are close. The Garlic Farm and Robin Hill are nearby too.

We can help arrange discounted ferry travel. The house is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has a wet room on the ground floor. Things like a cot, highchair, and stairgate are there if you need them. Up to two dogs are welcome.
