Scenic Bay is in Ludgvan, up on the hill. It's basically a one-bedroom chalet. The main selling point is the view. From the decking you can see right across Mount's Bay, from The Lizard around to Mousehole. St Michael's Mount is basically straight out front.
It sleeps four, but that's with the sofa bed in the living area. So it's one proper bedroom with a double bed, and then the sofa converts. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not luxurious. It's compact.
You're about a ten minute drive from Penzance for shops and the train station. Newlyn harbour is closer. For a beach, Marazion is probably your nearest, about two and a half miles. The South West Coast Path is accessible from various points nearby if you want to walk.
Within half an hour you can get to St Ives, which is good for the Tate and the beach, though parking is a nightmare. The train from St Erth is a better bet. You can get to St Michael's Mount easily, and the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is about a twenty-five minute drive. The National Trust has several properties nearby like Penrose.
For facilities, it's got parking right outside, a TV, bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a local pub in the village.
