Lodge 67 - Una

This is Lodge 67. It's one of the places at Una Resort in Carbis Bay. It's a modern, single-storey eco-lodge, detached. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating.

The main thing is you get access to the shared facilities on site. There's an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, and an outdoor hot tub for your lodge only. You can book spa treatments if you want. The heated outdoor lido is only open from April to October, but the indoor pool and the rest are open all year.

It's open plan inside, with a wood burner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's an electric car charger on the drive. The beds are made up for you when you arrive.

You can take up to four dogs. There's a decent patio area with a table and chairs that's fully enclosed.

Location wise, it's about a ten minute walk down to Carbis Bay beach. St Ives is a twenty-five minute walk along the coast path, or a five minute drive. Parking in St Ives is difficult, so walking or getting the train from Carbis Bay station is easier. The station is about a five minute walk from the lodge.

For planning trips, National Trust Cornwall is useful. So is Visit Cornwall's St Ives page.

Things within about half an hour's drive include the Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, and Gwithian and Godrevy beaches. Further than that, you're looking at Penzance, Lands End, or heading towards Newquay.
