White Crest is an apartment in a gated building on the edge of St Ives. It's on the first floor. You can use the stairs or the lift. The main space is open plan, with the kitchen, living area and dining table all together. The sofa faces the windows, so you can see the sea.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is a king-size with its own bathroom and a balcony. The other is a twin. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s well looked after and comfortable. The building is modern.
You’re about a five-minute walk from Porthminster Beach. It’s a good sandy beach. The town centre is maybe ten or fifteen minutes on foot. It’s all lanes and shops and places to eat. The harbour and Porthmeor Beach are a bit further, but still walkable.
For art, the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are in town. The coastal path to Carbis Bay is nearby if you want a proper walk. You can get the train to Penzance from St Ives station, which is handy.
In the apartment there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking on site. No pets, sorry.
