This is Villa 78. It's in Carbis Bay, near St Ives. A big detached place, sleeps eight.
It's got four bedrooms and three bathrooms, all on the ground floor. That's handy. The stairs are oak and go up to the main living area, which is open plan. The kitchen's along one wall, and there's a big living area with doors out to a balcony. Two bedrooms have access to a patio as well. It's a well-thought-out layout.
The property is eco-friendly, which basically means it's built to be efficient. It's also got a luxury rating so it's comfortable and finished well.
You get access to the on-site leisure club. That's a heated indoor infinity pool, plus a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and gym. There's a separate kids' pool too. Treatments are extra if you want them.
Carbis Bay beach is very close. It's a good, sandy beach, sheltered. You can walk into St Ives along the coast path, it's about half an hour. St Ives has the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum if you like art, plus plenty of shops and places to eat.
For local walks, the South West Coast Path is right there. Godrevy is about a 15 minute drive, good for seals. The St Michael's Mount is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. You've also got the Minack Theatre about half an hour away.
Facilities: it's got a private hot tub, parking, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets.
