Villa 79
Villa 79 is on the Una St Ives resort in Carbis Bay. It's a detached, reverse-level house, so the living area is upstairs to get the light. You get your own patio and hot tub.
It sleeps six with three bedrooms. There's a main bedroom with an ensuite, another with a dressing room, and a twin room. Two bathrooms in total. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's got all the fittings and finishes.
The resort facilities are included. That's a heated indoor pool, a gym, a sauna and steam room, and a separate kids' pool. You book spa treatments separately. Parking is on site.
Carbis Bay beach itself is a good sandy beach, about a ten minute walk. You can walk along the coast path into St Ives, which takes maybe half an hour. St Ives has the Tate gallery, the Barbara Hepworth museum, and plenty of places to eat.
Within a half hour drive, you've got Godrevy for the seals and good walks, and you can get to St Michael's Mount or over to Marazion. For walking, the South West Coast Path is right there.
Included in the house: all bedding and towels, a travel cot and a highchair, a washing machine and dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. It's a pet-friendly property. The maximum number of pets allowed is four.
