This is Una Aurum 57, in Carbis Bay. It's a one-bedroom lodge for two people, with a 5 Star rating. That means it's been built and finished to a high standard. It's part of a small development of eco lodges.
The living area is upstairs to make the most of the light and the view. It's open plan up there, with the kitchen, dining and sitting area all together. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included.
Downstairs is the bedroom and a shower room. The decoration is modern and considered.
Outside, you have your own patio area. There is parking right by the lodge.
As part of the Una development, you get access to the on-site leisure facilities. There's a shared indoor swimming pool and a gym.
Carbis Bay beach is about a fifteen minute walk away, mostly downhill. St Ives is a mile or so along the coast path, or a short drive. The National Trust and Cornwall National Landscape sites have good information about the local walks and beaches.
For a day out, you can drive to Penzance in about twenty minutes, or down towards Land's End. The Minack Theatre is about half an hour away.
No pets, I'm afraid.
