Lodge 53 Una

Lodge 53 is on the Una estate in Carbis Bay. It's one of a collection of eco-lodges set back from the main road. You’ve got your own enclosed patio area with a hot tub, which looks out over the shared grounds.

The lodge sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s been fitted out to a high standard. It's all open plan downstairs, so everyone's in the same space. On-site parking for one car.

Being an eco-lodge, it’s built to be energy efficient, with a wood burner if you want it. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

You get access to the shared facilities. That's the heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and a small gym. The outdoor lido is open in the warmer months.

Carbis Bay beach is a short walk down the hill. It's a beautiful, sheltered beach. You can walk the coast path from there into St Ives, which takes about half an hour, or it's a five minute drive. St Ives has the Tate, the Barbara Hepworth Museum, and a lot of shops and cafes.

For a day out, you can drive to St Michael's Mount in under half an hour. The National Trust has information on visiting. Land's End is about 45 minutes by car. For wider planning, Visit Cornwall is useful.

It’s a pet-friendly lodge. You can bring up to two dogs. There’s a stairgate and a highchair if you need them.
