Fishermans Cottage is in St Ives, a few streets back from the harbour. It's a traditional terrace cottage. You're right in the town.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating and it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, just so you know. We allow one dog.
You can walk to most things from here. Porthmeor Beach is about five minutes away. The harbour is maybe ten. You don't really need the car if you don't want to drive. The bus and train stations are close.
There are a few beaches to choose from. Porthmeor is for surfing. Porthminster is calmer, good for families. The South West Coast Path runs right past. You can walk to Carbis Bay along it, or the other way towards Zennor if you want a longer hike.
For art, there's the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. The town is full of galleries and shops. Plenty of places to eat around the harbour too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and bedding and towels are included. Parking isn't at the cottage, but there are pay car parks a short walk away. The National Trust in Cornwall page is good for ideas if you want to explore further by car.
