Bayview Cottage
Bayview Cottage is in Penzance. It's about a mile from the town, but you can see a slice of the sea from the first floor.
It sleeps six over three bedrooms. Two are downstairs, one has an en-suite shower. There's also a main bathroom down there. Upstairs is the living area, kitchen, and dining space. The stairs up are quite steep.
The big windows do give a good view. You get a decent sized terrace outside those doors. It's a good spot.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well looked after, with decent fixtures. It's got everything you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. We provide bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can walk into Penzance in about 20-25 minutes. There's a bus stop closer if you prefer. The town has the usual shops, pubs, and places to eat. The outdoor Jubilee Pool is there, but you need to book a slot. The harbour's interesting.
The coast path is right there for walking. You can head east towards Marazion and St Michael's Mount, or west towards Mousehole. The beach at Marazion is sandy and good for families. Mousehole is smaller, a bit more of a picture.
Within a half hour drive you've got quite a lot. St Ives is about 20 minutes. The Minack Theatre is near Porthcurno, maybe 25 minutes. Lands End is about the same. For gardens, Trengwainton is just outside Penzance and Trewidden is near Penzance too.
