Swallow Cottage
Swallow Cottage is in Boulby, on the North Yorkshire coast. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two.
It was renovated from an old barn. The layout is all on one level. The kitchenette is small but it's got a two-ring hob and a combi microwave oven, so you can make a proper meal if you want. There's a shower room.
Outside, you've got a private patio. The bigger garden is shared with the other cottages. There's an orchard with chickens wandering about, and a large koi pond. The fish are quite something.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger on site. We allow up to two dogs.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. Staithes is the proper fishing village nearby, about a mile and a half away. It's all cobbled streets and cottages, good for a wander and a pint. The Cleveland Way path runs right through there if you want a coastal walk. Whitby is about a twenty minute drive, Saltburn about fifteen.
