The Bungalow is in Staithes, at the top of the bank above the old village. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level which is handy. The garden is big and enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. You can sit out on the patio.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms: one super king, one king, and one single. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Everything you need is there.
You've got a proper range cooker in the kitchen, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The living area is open plan. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can take up to two dogs. There's parking on the drive.
For the village, you have to walk down the bank. It's steep. There's a pub, a small合作社 (co-op), and a chip shop very close by at the top. Everything else is down in the old village: more pubs, cafes, little shops, and the Staithes Heritage Centre. It's a proper old fishing village with narrow streets.
From here, you're on the Cleveland Way for walking. Runswick Bay is about ten minutes by car, Robin Hood's Bay is about twenty, and Whitby is about twenty-five. You can get boat trips from Whitby harbour. Saltburn and its surf school is about twenty minutes in the other direction.
