Old Port Cottage

Old Port Cottage is in Port Mulgrave. It's an end-terrace cottage. It's been in the family a long time, so it's not a brand new place. It's homely.

It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom downstairs. One bedroom has a double bed and a proper view out to sea. The other one has a double and a single bed in it, which is useful. It's got a 3 Star rating.

The main thing is the view. You can see the sea from the front rooms and the garden. The garden is enclosed, gets the sun, and has a lawn. You get two parking spaces right outside.

The Cleveland Way path goes right past the cottage. You can walk along the coast from the door. Robin Hood's Bay is about six miles south, Whitby is four miles south, and Saltburn is eight miles north. All worth a visit.

Staithes is the next village along, about a ten minute drive. It's a proper old fishing village with steep streets. Runswick Bay is just south of there, good for fossils. Inland, you've got the North York Moors. The heather looks great in August and September.

Inside, there's a kitchen that leads into a dining area, and a separate living room. It has a washing machine, TV, and bedding is included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets.
