Beachcomber Cottage is in Skinningrove. It's a small terraced cottage about two minutes from the beach. The road outside is quiet, it faces the sea. You have a back yard, it's enclosed.
The cottage sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is downstairs, with a shower, which is useful with sandy feet. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. There are steep stairs, as you'd expect.
There's a wood burner. We leave some logs to get you started. The kitchen has what you need. Bedding and towels are included.
You can take one dog. The beach here is dog friendly all year. It's a good beach for a proper walk. It's sandy, with rock pools. You're right on the Cleveland Way if you want to head out along the coast path.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. Skinningrove is quiet. For a shop, you'd go to Loftus, which is about two miles inland.
Within half an hour you've got Saltburn-by-the-Sea, with its pier and cliff lift. Whitby is about 25 minutes south. Staithes is 15 minutes north. The North York Moors are right behind you. Guisborough Forest Walk is about 20 minutes away.
