Jasmine Cottage
Jasmine Cottage is one of three places on Middle Hills Farm. It's in Aldwark, which is up in the hills, well away from the main roads.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one single. One bathroom downstairs. The shower has a step up into it. The stairs are steep. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The log burner in the living area is good.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Outside, you get your own enclosed patio with a view over the fields. You can park two cars right by the cottage.
The farm is gated, so it feels secure. The owners run it and you can see the animals. There's a big shared playground for kids. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the shower step and the stairs mean it's not suitable for everyone.
There's a pub you can walk to, about a mile away. In summer, you can also walk over the fields to the local brewery. They do events and takeaways.
For getting out, you're right in the Peak District. You can walk straight from the door. The High Peak Trail and Tissington Trail are very close. Monyash and Tideswell are nice villages for a walk and a pub lunch. Matlock, Ashbourne, and Buxton are all within a twenty minute drive. Chatsworth House is about half an hour away.
No pets, sorry. If you need a bigger group, you can book this cottage with Honeysuckle and Clematis next door.
