Waterside Barn
Waterside Barn is in Bradbourne, just on the edge of the Peak District. It's a big old stone barn we've converted. It's detached and you get the whole place and garden to yourselves. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. There's a hot tub out there.
It sleeps ten people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, so no queueing. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished, comfortable, and everything's in good order.
You look out over fields and you can hear the brook. There's a private paddock by the stream a few minutes' walk away. You can take a picnic down there. The footpath from the property joins the High Peak Trail and the Tissington Trail. You can walk to Carsington Water from here.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Tissington, about five miles.
You're well placed for getting around. Ashbourne is about fifteen minutes by car. Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Haddon Hall are all within half an hour. Buxton is about twenty-five minutes. If you want to arrange activities like clay shooting or quad biking, we can sort that. There's horse riding nearby and a golf course at Ashbourne.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's an electric vehicle charger on site. Parking for several cars.
