Cherry Tree Corner is a bungalow in Ashbourne. It's detached. The main thing is that everything is on one level, which makes it easy. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've brought a dog. You can have up to two, by the way. There's parking for one car on the drive.
Inside, there's a living room and a conservatory that goes out to the garden. The kitchen has a dishwasher. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. We've put a washing machine and a dryer in the outhouse, along with space for bikes and hanging wet coats. That's quite useful round here.
Ashbourne is a good town for shops and cafes. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance. For a longer walk, you can get straight onto the Tissington Trail. It's flat, so good for cycling too.
Dovedale and the stepping stones are about ten minutes by car. I always recommend getting there early if it's a nice weekend. The National Trust looks after it. Carsington Water is about the same distance. You can walk or cycle round it, or do watersports if that's your thing.
Alton Towers is within half an hour if you've got kids who want that sort of day out. For a quieter time, the Peak District villages like Tissington or Ilam are close by.
We include all bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair in the property if you need them. WiFi is included.
