Apricus Lodge is at Ashbourne Heights, near Fenny Bentley. It's one of many lodges on the site. You get your own enclosed decking area with patio doors.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One double with an ensuite toilet, and one twin. There's also a sofa bed in the lounge if you need it. It's a 4 Star lodge, so it's modern and well kept. You can bring one dog.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It has a dishwasher. There's a smart TV and the wifi is fine. Parking is right outside, for two cars.
On site, there's a shop, a playground, a laundrette, and an indoor swimming pool you can use. A path from the site goes straight onto the Tissington Trail for walking or cycling.
Dovedale and the stepping stones are about a ten minute drive away. You can walk up Thorpe Cloud from there. Ashbourne is the nearest town, a few minutes in the car. Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock are all within half an hour.
For a day out, Chatsworth House is roughly 40 minutes drive. Alton Towers is about 25 minutes away. If you're here for the walking, the National Trust Peak District site has good information.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity. You just need to bring your own food.
