Coldwell Street Cottage
Coldwell Street Cottage is in Wirksworth. It's a terraced cottage, right on the street in the old part of town. You can park on the street outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with twins. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath. There's also a separate toilet downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring one dog.
There are two small courtyards, front and back. They're enclosed, so they're private. Good for a morning coffee or letting the dog out.
Wirksworth town centre is a few minutes' walk. There are shops, pubs, and cafes. It's a proper old market town. The cottage is on the street, so you get the bustle, not a view.
For walking, you can start right from the door. The surrounding hills and old quarry trails are excellent. The Peak District National Park boundary is about a ten minute drive. Carsington Water is close for cycling or a stroll. Matlock Bath is a 15 minute drive, and Chatsworth House is about half an hour.
Facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's a golf course nearby.
