Bonsall View Cottage
Bonsall View Cottage is in Bonsall village, up near Matlock. It’s a 17th century cottage so the walls are thick and the windows are small. You get a front garden with a bench and a back garden too, both yours to use.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, one with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not just basic.
The stairs are typical cottage stairs. They turn and they’re steep. A stairgate is fitted.
Downstairs, there’s a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There’s on-site parking. There’s also an electric vehicle charger, but you need to arrange direct with me the week before you arrive. Just so I can get it set up for you.
The local pub is a few minutes’ walk. It does food.
For days out, Matlock Bath is about ten minutes by car. It’s got the cable car up to the Heights of Abraham and Gullivers Kingdom for kids. Chatsworth House is roughly twenty minutes drive. Good for a walk even if you don’t go in the house. The Peak District is right there for walking. You can get to trails from the village.
