Lane End is a small detached cottage just on the edge of Wirksworth. It's good if you want somewhere quiet. The neighbours are a fair distance away.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kept. Everything is on the ground floor.
The main room is open plan, kitchen at one end and living space at the other. It's a good size for two. The kitchen has what you need. The patio garden is private, gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one dog. They can go in the garden.
Wirksworth itself is a five minute walk. There's a Co-op, pubs, cafes. Some nice places to eat. The town has a good market on Saturdays.
For walking, the High Peak Trail starts nearby. It's an old railway line, so it's flat and good for cycling too. The Peak District National Park is right there. Some of the best walking is within a 20 minute drive.
Chatsworth House is about a 25 minute drive. The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is in Wirksworth, you can get a train down to Duffield. Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham are a 15 minute drive away. You can get into Derby city centre in under half an hour if you need to.
