Twinkles Cottage
This is Twinkles Cottage. It's on Polean Farm just outside Pelynt. The lane to get here is narrow and hedge-lined, typical for round here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The layout is upside down, so the living area is upstairs. That's to make the most of the view. You look out over the farm fields.
The stairs inside are a typical cottage spiral. They're fine, just mind your head coming down.
You're on a working farm. There are horses in the liver yard and they do animal feeding on weekday mornings if you want to get involved. The play area is handy if you've got kids.
The local village, Pelynt, is about a mile. There's a shop and a pub there. The pub does food. Looe is about three miles one way, Polperro about three miles the other. Both are proper old fishing harbours. The closest bit of coast for a beach is probably at Talland Bay, which is under two miles as the crow flies but a bit longer by road.
There's an indoor heated pool and evening entertainment available at a nearby holiday complex, a few minutes' drive away. It's free for guests, but check the details as it's not available all year and sometimes there's a small charge for pool sessions.
In the cottage you've got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
