Harbour Studio
Harbour Studio is in Polperro. It's a two-floor cottage that sits right over the river, looking straight down to the harbour.
It sleeps four. There's a small twin room downstairs with a toilet. Upstairs is the main living room, a double bedroom, and the bathroom. The bathroom has a double shower. The living room has two leather chairs, a sofa, and a big wood burner. It’s a nice room to sit in, especially when the weather’s bad.
The kitchen is compact. It has what you need. A narrow stable door opens onto a private deck that runs the length of the cottage. You get the whole deck to yourself. The view from there is the main thing. You look right across the river and the harbour.
It’s a 3 Star place. That means it’s comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The stairs are fairly steep, which is normal for these old cottages. You can bring one dog.
Polperro village is all around you. There are shops, places to eat, and galleries. The lanes are narrow and winding. The local museum has the smuggling history if you're interested. The beach is a short walk.
For walking, the South West Coast Path goes right from the harbour. The views are stunning. Looe is about a ten-minute drive. They have a fishing fleet, sandy beaches, and more coast path.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. Parking isn't at the cottage. You park in the village car park, which is a short walk away.
